Space station into asteroid mission, unable to finish

Recommended Posts

KSP Version: v1.0.2.842 Windows 64-bit

Hello,

I performed the mission requesting to create a space station "into an asteroid", and I'm stucked, because the game seems refuse to acknowledge that a space station docked to an asteroid is a space station:

When I'm not connected to the asteroid, the game acknowledge that I build the required space station ( antenna, docking port, and power), but as soon as I dock with an asteroid with the CLAW, the game acknowledge I made a facility "into a class D asteroid", but is now refusing to recognise the "space station", making the mission impossible to finish.

Am I missing something?;.;

Thanks for the awesome game !

The contracts stipulate that the station has to be new, not an old station re-purposed, so please ensure your station was launched after accepting the contract.

You can end the contract if you want by setting it as complete in the alt+F12 menu.

The contract states that I need to do the following:

Build a new orbital station around the Mun.

  • Put your station in orbit of the Mun
  • Build a new station that has an antenna, a docking port, and can generate power.
  • Have a facility supporting at least nine kerbals.
  • Have a research lab at the station.
  • Have 6,000 units of liquid fuel in your station.
  • Build the facility into a Class D asteroid.
  • Maintain stability for ten seconds.

I accepted the contract, built a NEW station from scratch, captured an asteroid, and finally placed the whole thing in a Munar orbit. When I captured the asteroid, I got credit for everything except "Put the station in orbit of the Mun."

Once I got it into orbit around the Mun, the credit I got for "Build a new station that has an antenna, a docking port, and can generate power." was wiped out for some reason.
