My Ksp looks Wrong on Ubuntu

Hi reese1221, the built-in anti-aliasing, which is on by default, is broken on Linux with the proprietary AMD driver.

Just turn it off, you can use the catalyst control panel to force anti-aliasing at the graphics driver level instead.

Im getting this, not sure why as full res is on .. pixalation on the craft

That's an artefact of the .dds compression, it's fast and great on file size, but it's lossy.

@Sal_vager, im not sure i installed an addon to use dds, afaik thats a stock part? Would appreciate help resolving this, it kind of just looks off, I thought it was my drivers :s i also get this kind of swirling bands on the water of kerbin when im in orbit it really spoils the effect

Likewise, be real nice if we could have a proper memory usage fix, rather than compromising texture quality like this...

1.0 changed all textures to .dds files. .dds is stock.

Not sure about the swirling bands, could you give a screen shot of that?

Ill get a shot when im home in a few hrs, basically it looks like where the sunlight hits the ocean it makes thes rings that get bigger and bigger moving outwards :/ lo-res looking

That's default and full settings on an nvidia gtx650 with the 331 proprietary driver, I think we're stuck with the pixelation/lines.

Well at least its not me going nuts

560Ti , running latest drivers, this is my only concern. that and remembering to push f10 for heat issue.

Just turn off PPFX to stop the heat issue, otherwise you'll have no warning that stuff is getting hot.
