Tech Tree Icon Modding: Please remove hardcoded paths to Squad folders

As of KSP 1.0, the Technology Tree is now defined as CFG files, which permits moddability.

However, the paths to tech node icons are currently hardcoded to various subdirectories under GameData\Squad (GameData\Squad\PartList\Icons, GameData\Squad\PartList\SimpleIcons, and GameData\Squad\Resources\RDSimpleIcons).

Therefore, my request is to allow add-on authors to specify their own tech node icon folder paths, so that they can distribute their custom tech node icons within their own mod folders, instead of having to constantly modify the Squad folder whenever their add-ons are installed/modified/uninstalled.

Yes, this is dumb, and it's the same thing with waypoint icons, or at least it was, I haven't actually checked if it's still that way.

There are (probably) two ways that I can think of to get around this right now. Either have some way of telling MM where your tech tree icons are so that it can change their location in GameDatabase (like so), which I borrowed from Waypoint Manager), or distribute a plugin that does the same thing.
