Sal_vager,

Thank you for your time, I want you to know I appreciate the time you have spent on these forums helping myself and others.

and the crashin..well it happens with any craft I build. I have completely reinstalled. and verified my cache in steam..and there is usually one or two files that need re-acquiring after every crash. I will completely delete and redownload again tonight. build a new craft and post when it crash(I sure it will)..

It's that time of year when temperatures rise. I just cleaned all the dust out of my CPU and video card last week. 97% of stop errors I have personally experienced are from overheating video cards.

Your System looks very similar to my setup i had for like ages.. the 6750 is sort of.. problematic with Gigabyte Mobos (mine was crashing a damn lot, changing the mobo helped there).

One thing to solve crashes on my setup was to enable(!) intelligent overclocking in the BIOS. As counterintuitive as it seems this helped me a lot. I was given the advise to do so as the gigabyte power saving features might have choked the cpu to death.. i was experiencing BSODs on high load scenarious in various games, but especially when doing cpu-heavy stuff (you may want to try SuperPI!).

If possible you could try this.. it helped me to get only about 1/10 of the BSODs i had before.. then again i swapped mobos and the BSODs were gone.

Good luck!

Also, you can try running Memtest86+ or Windows memory diagnostic tool to check memory, Prime95 in stress test mode to test CPU, VMT to test Video memory, and FurMark to test GPU (and video memory).

First, clean out any dust from heatsinks/fans.

I'd start with FurMark. If it BSODs or you see artifacting, your GPU is having problems. If that's stable, go to Prime95 stress tests. If you get errors, your CPU or memory is having issues. Run a memory test to determine which.

Thanks Again Sal_vager!

SAI !

Running FurMark was the best thing i could have done!@ Showed me my problem, Which had nothing to do with KSP

Thank you UnNerve for this advice.

Been a couple of years since i have been in there and Damn..was rather dirty. A couple of cans of Air Later, and I've Played KSP for hours without crashing. It's Really the only game I play. So very Glad Im up in Outer Space( in my lil Kerbal world). Thank you to All who provided Help and Advice, proving once again what a great community KSP has.

Peace

GKz
