Any mod repairing/replacing solar panels?

I know stock engineer cannot do it.

I just screwed one of my solar panels on a ship during a burn-after-undock in a stupid fashion, and I don't feel like reverting this since it might be an interesting mission to repair it.

So question - is there any mod that enables me to fix the broken solar panel? Need to launch a new ship with the replacement part is fine (actually this is what I want). I just have KAS but haven't played with it - is it capable of removing the bad panel and attach a new one?

I'm talking about solar panels, not chutes/landing gears/rover wheels. I just tried in a sandbox (max lv) and there's no right-click even available for my broken Gigantor XL. Could you elaborate why are you saying stock engineers can?

You need KIS for this ( but if u have KAS u must have KIS), prepare a resue ship, put new solar panel in the pod inventory, u will need the tool too and a ladder is really welcome to avoid drifting in vacum, the book is usefull at the biginning. Launch engineer inside.

R change node

X attach

remove your jet pack before attach / slide to your inventory or your kerbal will rotate weird ( the best is to be on a ladder)

this mod is amazing and really give a great dimension to EVA. i dowloaded it for the same reason as you, bug when EVAed my kerbal and he get ejected right in my solar panel field like a bullet.
