Help Jeb Survive Re-Entry, Please!

+1 for the rescue, simply because it's more fun. But you don't actually have to rescue him, if you don't want to:

1. Kerbals can survive reentry on EVA just fine. No heating at all, you don't even get graphic effects.

2. A kerbal on EVA can fall out of the sky and land without a problem.

IMHO, both of those facts are way overpowered and ought to be nerfed (after all, the name of the game is "Kerbal Space Program", not "Kerbal Xtreme Skydiving")... but until/unless they change it, it's no problem to bring the little green guys without a ship.
