What to populate my tech tree with ?

I have empty nodes in my tech tree

Can you advice me with mods to populate those empty nodes with ?

Hello, it seems like you have become victim of the, the more mods, the better the game. I suggest you try something new! Install OpenTree and TweakScale. Thats it. Now you can customize almost all the stock parts to your liking while getting a challenge from the new tree! Good luck

Hmm thanks for the advice but I play on carreer mode so i'd like to not start all over again. I would just like to not spend science on empty nodes.

Do you suggest i delete all my mods and install only the 2 you recommends ?

Whats would OpenTree bring me compared to CommunityTechTree ?

I recommend using the near future packs (including the dev versions) Ksp interstellar, life support, remote tech, mks/oks, atomic age. Still that survivability node stays empty for me.
