I got mine for 10-15 in 2013, and I didnt blink when paying $40 when I bought it for my step-nephew a month ago. I'm at almost 1,000 hours in.

Yep. I remember reading many prices on Steam result from suggestions based on Valve's data. So for KSP being so expensive and price-stable implies the price is just right for the general audience. Sites like steam charts certainly imply the games playerbase is incredibly stable.

I paid like $ 16 long time ago and spent more than 2000 hours with it meanwhile. Thats 0.8 cent per hour! I think never had cheaper paid entertainment than this.
