I'll have to try this-I've got fighters waiting to see some use.

I will say, though, that the reason most stock militarist players don't use aircraft-carrier-type hulls for our carriers is that carriers with internal hangar bays are often more efficient and are better at shielding their onboard crew and ships from harm.

That and there's no need for a large flat runway to takeoff/land on.

One flaw I see is that the railings may be an obstacle when trying to dock larger crafts to the carrier.

Good looking ship! Try wing panels instead of plates if you're not too concerned about armor. You could save on part count as well as weight. It's got a nice industrial tanker ship look to it.
