I don't know, but I think it should have a thing like "Hint: you're probably trying to load a craft file which is corrupted due to a version or mod change"

I wouldn't call it an easter egg, that's a practical tool there. Useful to remind you to reinstall mods, or edit craft files.

That has been there a little while, at least since 0.90, maybe a version before. It's useful(ish), it would be more useful if it could list the part-names that are not present, then you could look them up and find out what mods you needed.

oh, do you mean the text about "unified field theory"?

That might be new, but then again I've become de-sensitised to most blocks of text in game as most are just gibberish.

Though the part names are not always clear.

But I think he was indeed referring to the flavor text.
