For those having issues with 0.15...

There are some new controls that may help.

In the VAB and SPH, you can now use the \'QWEASD\' keys to rotate parts.

When landing spaceplanes, you can brake using the \'B\' key.

These are just some things I noticed people having trouble with. I hope it helps some of you.

Oh and can I add something useful too here?

You can set in the settings file the PATCHED_CONIC_DRAW_MODE parameter from 0 to 4, and each mode is as follows:

0 - Local to Body: Patches are drawn in relation to the current position of each orbiting body.

1 - Local at SOI Entry UT: Patches are drawn in relation to the body, but at the time of SOI entry (default)

2 - Local at SOI Exit UT: Same as above but at the time of leaving the SOI.

3 - Relative: Patches are drawn in relation to the current body being orbited (continuous line mode).

4 - Dynamic: That experimental Lerped mode I mentioned earlier.

I found that out of all those modes, the default is perhaps the least confusing and most helpful... Also, don\'t forget to mention that the number of patches can be altered, too. 3 is a good number -- lots of info, little error.

Thanks! I missed the \'QWEASD\' note and was having no luck at all in 0.15 with some of the mod parts - especially the nodes from BACE and Kosmos. This was a great help!

Thanks for this. After trying it out, I think that three patches should be default, not 2. The two patches is basically like before patched conics, only with a pretty picture of what exactly it will look like.

Yeah, 3 is probably the best. Any more than that becomes very confusing, unless perhaps they were clearly marked with a number indicating the sequence they\'d be encountered in.
