Start Game Sub-menu doesn't work

I downloaded v1.0.0.0 demo for Mac. I can click on Start game in the main menu and that takes me to the Start Game sub-menu, but "Resume Saved" "Start New" and "Training" do nothing. "Back" takes me back to the main menu. Any ideas?

Hi,

I have installed v1.0.0.0 demo on OS X 10.10.3. I can successfully click from the main menu to the start game menu. In the start game menu "Resume Saved", "Start New" and "training" all do nothing. "Back" takes me back to the main menu.

Hi, I've got the same problem.

I'm running the demo (1.0.0.0) on a Macbook air (13-inch, Mid 2012).

In the start game sub-menu none of the options do anything; only the back button works.

It looks like maybe there's some files missing, something the Unity engine does is use local URL's to find data files.

Check your saves folder, make sure you have Training and Scenarios, if you made a save already there should be a Default folder as well.

The Default folder should contain a persistent.sfs and both a VAB and SPH folder, if any of these are missing the game can fail to load anything on the New Game screen.

I am also having this problem. I am running the 1.0.0.0 demo on a 2013 MackBook Pro which runs on Os X 10.9.5. I was unable to post the log in it’s entirety on account of length, so here is a shortened version. I have removed about 70 pages of the same few lines repeating themselves and replaced them with two pages of the repeated lines. Any sugestions one what to do next are appreciated.

This looks to be it eNamel5.

DirectoryNotFoundException: Directory '/Applications/saves/training' not found.

The saves folder is usually in the Kerbal Space Program folder, not in Applications so why it is looking in Applications is unknown, all I can suggest is you try reinstalling to a new location and verify that saves is in Kerbal Space Program.
