Strange, unreadable message on Drill

So, I'm still learning about drilling and ISRU. Landed two very large holding tanks, with drills attached, on Minmus. When I deploy the drills, which go below the surface, and then I start drilling. But nothing happens and I get a message saying "No ground con..." but it's cutoff and can't see the full message. See image. Any ideas what this is and how to fix it?

It says "No ground contact". It thinks your drills are spinning freely in the air. Also, your image is broken.

Is this a known bug or something? 'Cause the drill head is definitely below the surface, as you can see in the fixed image.

Probably not low enough to register as contact.

I had the same problem on minus, raising the landing legs moved the drill far enough down that it started working in my case.

Your drills are too high, even though they do poke into the ground they are not going deep enough. I have and this happen before too! Now, I always test them out first on the launchpad (then revert of course)!

Usually when the orange part almost touches the ground, its perfect. Try to aim for that.
