Eclipse shadows?

While eclipses are common in the Kerbal universe right now, they never seem to actually make things dark. Sure, they make solar panels useless for a few minutes, but there's no shadow. So Laythe can orbit right behind Jool and never go dark, and vice versa.

Are there any mods that add eclipse shadows?

Agreed. I'd really love to see eclipses in KSP. Especially in the Jool system where you'd get to see Laythe/Vall/Tylo cast shadows onto Jool.

I have no idea how hard it would be to implement though.

I believe that may be an eventual goal of PlanetShine. However, the mod is extremely inactive right now, so don't expect too much, right now.

I don’t think that’s a stated goal of PlanetShine, but I seem to recall Squad saying they’d like to do this. I wonder if it’s something a mod could do.
