Grey arrow sticking out of craft

ok in the past week I have this grey area coming out my craft pointing in the direction the craft is moving

I got mechjeb,kerbal alarm clock & stage recovery but no other mods installed.

Anyone got an idea what could cause this

That's just one of the debug arrows from MJ. They're not on by default, but you can turn them off by opening Attitude Adjustment (the one below Ascent Guidance) and unchecking the boxes by the debug arrows.
