Realism Overhaul 1.0.2 stuck loading?

Recommended Posts

GHi all. Just installing the latest 1.0.2 of RO and it is stuck on loading the game at this point:

FASA/Apollo/ApolloCSM/Apollo_SM_RCS/FASAApollo_SM_RCS

any ideas?

EDIT: reinstalled a fresh, new KSP yet same thing happened, however the point it paused was:

ModuleManager: 1641 patches applied

Squad/Parts/Command/mk1-2CommandPod/Mark1-2Pod

I extracted this straight from a ZIP file direct to the KSP root folder.

RSS runs perfectly without this...

Need the actual log.

However, at a guess, sounds like RealFuels might not be installed right.

Also, remember that some mods get extracted to root (if the top level folder in the zip has a GameData), and some get extracted to GameData. For instance, your GameData folder should have

CommunityResourcePack

RealFuels

SolverEngines

Mmmm....just been looking at CKAN. Maybe this is the way to go. Just tried it but have 1 quick question.....

I chose the mods I wanted and they were downloaded into a folder called CKAN in my KSP folder as zip files. I checked my GameData folder but it was empty? Is this correct?

No, that's not correct. Looks like the changes weren't applied. I'd suggest trying again, and if that fails, post on the CKAN thread (and read any info/links in the OP)....

Ok thanks for replying....I didnt think it was correct either.

Sorry for looking like an idiot...I usually install mods manually however moving up to RSS has made me see I need to learn more. I'm desperate to just make a Moon landing so I will retry tonight to install everything through CKAN and if successful I will let you know. If unsuccessful I'll check the thread so not to bother you too much (embarrassed face).

Thankyou again :)
