Any current and working mod manager application?

i have been lurking in this forum since i bough the game on steam, and i always end up with a 1gb mod folder that i delete after a new gamechanging patch hits, however it has become quite annoying after a while and it has become really hard to know which mods keep up to date and other stuff. While i want ksp to have a working steam workshop i think is not possible for the moments, so if anyone knows any application that works as a mod manager for ksp that at leasts let me know what i have installed and all that please tell me D: .

Also extra question, is there any mod that adds more parts for making land based vehicles to explore a planet? or propeller planes?

CKAN has the one problem that if you somehow lose a file from a mod, it willl never know and fix that for you, so you have to uninstall and reinstall the mod. Other than that, I love it.

Oh, another nitpick: you can't flag a mod as "favourite" or anything like that, so if you uninstall one for debugging purposes, you have to keep track of it yourself.

Not quite true. You can export a .ckan file with your currently installed mods (File -> export installed mods). Then if you want to restore you load the list from that file (File -> install from .ckan).

Yeah, that's a new feature indeed. Haven't tried it yet, tho.
