I'd suggest trying out "Open Broadcaster" for making your videos. It's free, fairly easy to use, and you wouldn't have that awful watermark across the screen.

Aye, that's what I was using for streaming as well, captured the video with replay buffer.

It's really great for those "oh man i wish i had recorded that!" moments, cause you can just press a button and you DID record it.

I have mine set to 3 minutes, but you can go as far out as you want provided you have the RAM for it. 3 minutes takes up ~80Mb of RAM.

You can also use it to just straight up record ofc.
