How can i turn off these Heat Bars?

Hello KSP Community

When i was playing KSP lately, i've noticed those

strange and annoying bars when a part is overheating

I've deleted mods, looked through the settings, the Debug

Menu.. and found nothing!

Does someone know how to turn them off?

Press F10 while in flight, you should see in the center view a green textline stating "Temperature Gauges: Disabled" (just press F10 again to re-enable).

Additionally, the F11 and F12 keys toggle a temperature overlay (colouring parts by their temperatures) and an aerodynamic overlay (showing the various forces on your ship as coloured arrows) if you ever want more information as to why your ship is overheating/not flying properly.

There's also a mod for that which turns them off automatically because it's easy to forget ... and because there's a memory leak that goes with those temperature gauges that will crash the game.

OP: You probably shouldnt be ignoring that petal adapter. Thats razor's edge of exploding.

TO answer the question, you can disable them with F10. If you decide you need them, I advise disabling PFXX highlighting in the settings so you don't get a memory leak, a nasty one.
