I realized that in KSP you can "Build Your-own-Lightsaber"

Why aren't I doing this more often?!... well it's kind of pointless. But it's neat what you can do by clipping some parts together.

I don't know if anyone's tried this, couldn't find it but still. I thought it was a fun idea.

That is a fun idea, to be honest. Getting those into orbit alone would be worth the funds.

Then you become more powerful than anyone could possibly imagine.

Actually, for that first, you may very well get one heck of a light show as the SRB is part of the second stage, and it may explode what is beyond it, if not itself.

The second is lackluster as everything is on one stage.

It stops being a lightsaber and becomes a spent model rocket.

Although, I have no doubt someone by now is already designing an actual functioning RTO (Rocket to Orbit) matching one of the many sabers featured in the movies or Clone Wars shows.

Yea they pretty much explode or spin out if you turn it all on. It's mostly for cosmetic purposes and fun

I built this a while ago for my gundam. Still available if anyone wants it. Never got around to programing damage though.
