This is Bosco Hern with a few pointers on money.

Well, not really, but those of a certain age and disposition may get the reference... At any rate, I'm currently playing the KSP demo and am looking forward to buying the game sometime during the first week of July (when I get my Social Security check). On a personal note, my most treasured birthday gift was Neil and Buzz landing on the Moon; I turned 12 that day.

As an aside: To those of you who have played with the Realism Overhaul mod, what are your feelings on it?

Welcome aboard!

If you are interested, you should definetly try RO. Installation, however, is tricky. Once you start playing RO, even the small things like getting into orbit will feel very rewarding.

In what way is installation tricky, viktor? And would I be adding to the peril by running KSP under Linux?

There are like seventeen different mods that you need to install that Realism Overhaul relies on. I've never gotten it to work. :|

As Starwhip said, RO demands several mods, and that's just the bare minimum. More mods you add, RO gets better. And about linux, if I read correctly, 64-bit KSP runs much better (if you mean that with linux) because it has much more RAM available. Alternatively, if KSP is run regularly (32-bit) in windows, you should definitely try this convenient trick for memory reduction.

RO can be installed with CKAN now (for 1.0.2 anyway, might need to wait for mods to update yet). It doesn't get much easier than this. -> ckan.exe install RealismOverhaul <- Viola, all dependencies installed in one fell swoop.
