Just curious is there such a thing as a Mk2 inline drill anywhere?

Not to my knowledge, but you could try fitting a drill inside a mk2 cargo bay, eg attached to an infernal robotics mechanism.

A better solution would just be a drill that deploys perpendicularly to the surface it's attached to.

That way you could just stuff it in a cargo bay, and it wouldn't be dependent on the Mk2 form factor

Feels like a very Kerbal solution to kludge together, although I'm hesitant to add another mod.

You can place the mini drills inside a full size MK2 cargo hold ifor you do it just right (some rotation and adjustments are necessary). I used the pocket sized bar and attached three drills and three small radiator panels on them for the required 50W/drill.

Necrothread - when this question was posted, the mini drills didn't exist.
