M46 Patton

The M46 was an American tank designed to replace the M26 Pershing and M4 Sherman. It was one of the U.S Army's principal medium tanks of the early Cold War, with models in service from 1949 to the mid-1950s.

Comes with rotating turret, simply switch to it and "control from here" on the front pod, just behind the gun. Camouflage not included.

I like how some of the road-wheels are busted in the picture. Battle damage?

I bounced the tank a bit coming off the runway, being careless, yeah :P 34 tons is heavy for the chassis, it's close to the limit.

Finally! Zekes made an American tank.

I also made an M26 Pershing and a T26E4 Super Pershing (not released yet), and I'm working on this....

.... don't get your hopes up too much though, the turret is abysmally hard.

Is building the turret the issue or the bearing? I have some small bearings that can fit in there very easily.

The problem is it's a molded turret, which means it's insanely hard to do in KSP on account of the rounding literally everywhere. It's also small, smaller than any other turret I've made, and it's hard to get it in the right proportions. The bearing should be fine, it's aethetics I'm hung up on.

perhaps you should try the later modelled turrets? they were bigger and more square

It ended up working out okay. Plus from this one I can make it into the late-war turret (maybe)
