Minmus Frozen Lake Landing

Hey, so today I made a survey ship to land on Minmus and see if there could have been life due to the lakes :P but I seemed to just fall strait under the lake for some reason, did this happen to you? I was only going around 1.5m/s on landing so it was a really soft landing.

That\'s known to happen with those lakes.

My theory is that either the lander\'s engine melted the ice, or Minmus is actually more of a rubble pile than a rigid solid object like Mun, or a mixture of both.

Hah yeah i had that problem for my first few \'landings\' (meant in the loosest of terms), then i started to float above the ice.

Once i actually landed a (stock 8) ) rover and got to driving around some hills when i came to a section where the terrain met the next \'tile\', but it was a metre out of line, so my rover nosed dived and then \'sploded everywhere :(

Definitely some terrain bugs atm. Ah well.

Yea, i noticed this too. Once when I was driving on the ice (with a mod) i actually fell through and was falling into the center?? :D

Then somehow i ended up going 76,600 mps at 1.4trillion meters away from the sun ???
