Krakensbane dead?

I was comming in from Minmus to my space station in a 300km orbit to drop off some extra Monopropellant and pick up kimdrien and mitfred. I was docking, I docked but when jeb and mitfred were having lunch together in the cafeteria the space station started bending back and forth and the ap rose by 5km (the thing was at its pe). Almost tore itself. Sas was off and I was not touching any keys. Jeb, mitfred and kimdrien had to run off in my Minmus rocket back to kerbin asap. What the hack is this?

Krakensbane was a solution to a specific thing that caused the original Deep Space Kraken. If you went into solar orbit, your solar orbital velocity was so high it caused imprecision in the physics engine.

After the original Kraken was killed, people loved the idea of the Kraken so much that almost any bug is referred to as a Kraken.

Not complaining or anything. I love the Kraken as much as the next guy.

Were you in IVA at the time? I've had a station go into massive wobble mode while looking around inside the modules. It was quite disconcerting to see a docking port suddenly come into view outside the window.

Well, very long, thin protrusions can cause physics to glitch and make things wobble around. Was there anything like that on the station?

I had this happen on the ship i used 2 mun missions ago - during the flight it started wobbling then wobbled more and more and more until it tore itself apart for no reason at all. This happened 5-6 times. Thank goodness for quick saves.

Of course my next mun mission was even worse - SAS didnt work at all, without touching the controls the ship would go full pitch up and go into spins, things exploded at 50k feet in reentry when they were only 300 degrees....

TL;DR The kraken is alive and well.

Seriously though, I tried for a long time to construct a station around Minmus, it either disappears on loading (or at least most of it does) or it is eaten by a mysterious invisible space tornado. Having said that, that was a couple of versions ago (Im just getting back in after a while away from KSP).

Even walking without rhythm doesn't seem to help.

There might be somethign to Minmus orbit. One of my tankers shipping fuel between Minmus' surface and orbital depot got eaten once by unknown forces, and ripped in several parts, while it was transitting high in Kerbin orbit nearby. It must have happened while I was focused elsewhere, too, because discovered that only when I clicked it in the Tracking Station and noticed it had only 5 parts left.

I think is mostly used to game-breaking bugs.

By the description, maybe you messed with clipping either Klaws or service bays. Those have some nasty colliders that only act up sometimes... you can keep the effects in check by deploying/stowing them if the craft loaded sane in the first place, but I recommend a redesign so those parts are as far from clipping anything as possible.
