I was playing around with KSP the other day and making some planes. I was trying to make a plane that is originally black, but KSP has only white parts. Is KSP racist?! I think it would be awesome if you could paint parts in different colors. Like the wings, fuselage and cockpit. :cool:

Most rockets and spacecraft IRL are white to reduce solar heat gains, race has nothing to do with it.

If you are amenable to mods, there is one that lets you recolor parts, KerbPaint, which some have gotten working on 1.0.x.

Definitely in the "nice to have" category for stock features, though.
