What Do You Like About 1.0?

I decided to create this thread to counter the overwhelming hate I've seen in one of my previous threads regarding 1.0, so what do you like about KSP 1.0?

Many things, but a few that immediately come to mind are the smoke plume effects when firing a rocket engine at the ground, and the Engineer's Report function in the VAB because I'm an idiot that forgets parachutes and antennas all the time

Just about everything, except the brick wall atmosphere of Jool. The Ore is the most interesting to me.

The new landing gears are awesome, the smaller old one was quite insufficient. I might even be able to get the "Madness of Caligula" off the ground one day now.

Just about all the changes in 1.0.x were for the better IMO. The new aero model is worlds ahead of the old one, the thermal mechanics have added new and interesting challenges, stock fairings are well implemented (confetti aside, hopefully that gets fixed), ISRU gives new options for mission profiles. There's still work to be done but the game is much better than it has ever been.

ISRU gives new options for mission profiles.

I especially love the ISRU's simplistic module configuration, which leaves it open for new custom resource implementation. Also changing the ratios to be proper.
