Two Mobile Processing Labs on one station?

Can I increase my rate of science generation from data by having two mobile processing labs on one station? Or do I need to put them in seperate vehicles.

I haven't tried it since the 1.0.2 version, but in that version it was bugged out. There was no way to put data into both labs. If you try it you'll want to test it before actually relying on it.

did you try having the MPL as a unit by itself (with some RCS and a probe core and docking ports) that you could undock, add data to the unit still attached then redock or similar depending on your gameplay?

Possibly get the science on ships that dock with MPL separately then it redocks with the research station to continue research?

I have two separate MPLs I docked to make a larger station with another unit saturated in batteries and solar panels - I can confirm that indeed you get twice the science.

(BTW - I can also confirm that letting it tick over nicely while doing two missions at the same time to Duna and Jool's moons is a magnificent way to get a couple hundred science before the science from Duna and Jool even comes back! )
