Skyrim: What's something weird you do?

Well, I don't know if this classifies as "weird", but it's super fun. I now go around looking for bandits and evil whatnots, and whenever I find them, I cast Muffle and Invisibility, sneak up behind one with Invisibility in my left hand and a dagger in the right, assassin-sneak-attack one of them and immediately go invisible again, sneak attack again, go invisible again, sneak attack, repeat, profit. It works in broad daylight. :D

I've discovered something else weird I do. Any time I raid a place, if the owners are bandits or they attack me, after I kill them, I take what I want, and then proceed to throw every moveable object onto the floor. To make it really seem like I raided the place. If there's a full table I just Fus Ro Dah it and watch the chaos. Lots of fun. :sticktongue:

I've recently discovered that for the life of me I can't start a new game. :(

I've gotten so used to being ridiculously overpowered that it's hard to go back. Also, Alternate Start doesn't give you a clear storyline to follow if you don't pick the vanilla start. Maybe I'll do that.

I tried the same as you, OP, to collect all the books. Did that once in Morrowind, too. Didn't finish either time, though.

Anyway, someone made a list of all the Skyrim books which I found online in spreadsheet form. I don't have a handy link, but it was really useful as a checklist, if you find yourself a copy. :)

After beating the game with 2 or 3 normal characters, I challenged myself by turning up the difficulty to Expert, using ZERO armor at all, and using frostfall and realistic needs. You can easily die in one or two hits, especially when completing the main quest. On the other hand, it meant I focused on Archery and sneak, and so by level 60 I have almost impossible to detect sneak, and my Dragonbone bow (thanks to Dawnguard) does some 155 damage, plus the extra 20 for Daedric and Dragonbone arrows, plus the x3.0 attack while sneaking. It's a rather unique play experience, as opposed to my first character (a male tank who ran around with Wuuthrad and 500+ armor protection, which resulted in getting beat up a lot and wasting many potions). With a bow and arrow, you can get clean kills and 90% of the time you aren't detected, let alone hit. For situations with multiple enemies, I carry around dual Shock staves which tend to stun enemies, as well as jump to other enemies nearby, so I can kind of supress a whole group of enemies (and I have soul trap on the bow to charge the staves with uber amounts of crystals).

Because of the fact that my character kept taking so many hits and the only way was to heal to survive, I "weathered" her accordingly- as more and more fighting took its toll, the character changed to reflect it. She eventually ended up looking like a sith lord/witch.
