If you could change one thing in history, what would you change?

We've all thought about alternate history, right? For example, what if the Soviets landed on the moon first? So, I decided to make a game out of the topic. So, here it is: If you could change one thing in history, what would you change?

Rules:

1. Don't change the life path of one random person, that, for all we know, you might have made up. It has to be something that there is a historical record of, or info about can be publicly accessed.

2. If it's got a historical record of some sort, or info can be publicly accessed about it, you can change it, and maybe make up a little alternate history theory.

3. You can only change one thing in history. Not ten things whose changes might interfere with each other.

Here's an example of gameplay:

P1: What if the failures of the Soviet N1 rockets never happened? If this happened, then they might have gotten manned missions to the moon as well.

P2: What if the Lunar Module's liftoff stage hadn't worked on Apollo 11? Well, then the rest of the program would've probably been canceled while a Reality TV show was made about Buzz Aldrin and Neil Armstrong living on the moon. Of course, due to supplies being limited, the show probably wouldn't have made it to the end of the first season.

and so on...

Let's start!

What if the ICC had approved the SP-SF merger in the 1980s? Well, most likely, trains in a lot of the country would look very different due to the huge network the combined railroad would've spanned.

If ICC approved SPSF, then SPSF wouldn't be "shouldn't paint so fast" anymore.

What if the XB-70 had two big J58 turbojets or 6 regular J58 turbojets instead of 6 YJ93 turbojets? (When Nertea updates his MK4 spaceplane pack with a BIG turbojet, I'll do that.)

If I could change history, I would make sure Challenger hadn't exploded during ascent. If it hadn't, the teacher in space program might have continued, and the education system might incorporate space exploration into the curriculum more.

I would change the fact that I can only change one thing, and then give humans the ability to stop aging as soon as they evolved, let the dinosaurs and every other extinct species survive by transporting them to various other planets, give NASA infinite funding, create fast interstellar channel, and stop anyone from dying.

I would make Microsoft never hire the guy who added that "feature" into Microsoft Excel that makes you instantly navigate to the bottom of a sheet when you accidentally double click on the edge of the cell while trying to edit the contents of the cell, causing you to lose your place in a 10000 line spreadsheet. If I ever meet that guy, I ought to give him a punch in the face. (And you can't even turn it off without disabling a dozen other features that are actually useful! I mean, come on.)

And if anyone tells me that this is a convenient way to navigate around spreadsheets, they also get a punch in the face.
