O strange Self Service checkout, what do you mean?

An oddity in TESCOs.

I used a self-service checkout. In this order, this is what it said after I paid:

Thankyou for shopping at tescos.

Please take your change. Notes are dispensed below the scanner.

Please take your items.

Unexpected item in bagging area.

I had one which specifically said 'Please take your bag.' It was freaky, because I did only have one bag...

You didn\'t by any chance sit on the tray did you? :-[

No. It just told me to take my bags, before saying \'unexpected item in bagging area\'.

Meh, the software and rendered images of people grabbing their stuff on those checkouts is soooooo 1998. They\'re also quite buggy. Do the manufacturers know anything about bugfixes?

On a good day, at least two of the self service checkouts will be out of service.
