Mesh collider not working?

Recommended Posts

I'd bet dollars to donuts that Unity is throwing an error message at the bottom, something on the lines of "Mesh has more than 255 polygons. This is invalid."

Your mesh is too complex to slap a convex collider on it. You'll need to use a simpler one, either from unity or in blender. Unless you plan on making the object surface attachable, you're usually just better off (in my opinion) using extremely simple meshes like cubes or cylinders to represent the object. You save significantly on tri's that way.

Edit: I usually have this problem with more spherical objects. Nice model, btw.

Aww man, ok then.

Also, thanks. It's the new Supernova for the 2.0 update of my mod. :D
