Which mod is causing crash when leaving a flight?

Recommended Posts

KSP 1.0.4 is crashing when I'm reverting, going back to space center, or recovering vessel. It doesn't happen everytime, but I'd give it a 50/50 chance each time I do one of those things. I have a .... ton of mods installed, so at first I thought it was a memory issue, so I installed ATM regular. Still happened. So I went back and installed the aggressive version of ATM, made no improvement.

Here's all the mods I have:

ATM Agressive

Adjustale Landing Gear

Astronomers Visual Pack Interstellar v2

BDArmory

Community Tech Tree

DOE

DMagic Science

Docking Port Alignment

Editor Extensions

EVE (Community made upgrade for 1.0.2)

Infernal robotics + model rework

KAS & KIS

Kerbal Alarm Clock

Kerbal joint reinforcement

Kerbal Engineer

KSP No offset limits

Modular Rocket Systems Parts

Near Future Cons. / Propulsion / Solar / Spacecraft

PlanetShine

Procedular Parts

RasterPropMonitor

SCANSat

Scatterer

ScienceAlert

SETI Tech tree

Stockalike Station Parts

TAC Life support

TextureReplacer

Trajectories

Tweakable Everything

MenuStabilizer

Here's my entire crash folder w/ log:

I would say your running out of memory. ATM doesnt do much to help now. Astronomers visual pack uses tons of memory on its own. Im sure when a member with more technical knowledge looks at your crash report, lack of memory will be the problem.

You ran out of system memory.

DynamicHeapAllocator out of memory - Could not get memory for large allocationCould not allocate memory: System out of memory!

Memory overview

Yes, the developers at Microsoft who made .net don't know how to spell happened.

How much system memory do you have? Are you running a 32-bit or 64-bit OS? Modded KSP pretty much needs a 64-bit OS with more than 4GB of RAM. KSP will try to take 4GB of RAM on its own (more on the 64-bit Linux version), if all you have is 4GB then you won't be able to run the OS and the game at the same time. Background programs are right out, especially massive memory hogs like web browsers.

Hmmm, I don't often see rabid anti-Microsoft comments in this forum...

What on earth (or Kerbin) makes you think that anyone at Microsoft had anything to do with that error message? That is a message from the Unity game engine so would be the fault of either the Unity devs or possibly the Mono devs, but certainly not anyone at MS...

KSP on Windows is 32-bit by default, and cannot ever use more than 4GiB (~=3.8GB). There is a hacky workaround that allows the 64-bit Unity Player to run KSP on Windows, but it's unstable for many people. Linux is a better alternative, since it's stable and 64-bit KSP actually works. The coming upgrade to Unity 5 in KSP 1.1 will hopefully bring a stable 64-bit client.
