Game locks up and freezes within minutes

Basically, within minutes of starting the game, the whole game freezes. The odd thing is, it doesn't freeze like other programs do. It doesn't say "not responding", I can click X and it will close, but the whole thing is just completely unresponsive. I don't know what to do, as this makes the game completely unplayable. Note: I am playing this on a new PC that I haven't played KSP on before.

Wow that's very strange Raiden, can you please upload your output_log.txt file after one of these freezes, it might say what's going on.

The game actually rarely crashes, but it did this one time, and the output_log.txt file shows this:

Now, this may or may not actually be related to my actual problem. But, whatever you find may be helpful.

Bit of an update, I just found out that the game is actually still running and I can do things, but the display output is just frozen. Strange. Note, this happens on no other software on my PC.

Okay well you mention you're using a new PC, but the log you linked to was uploaded 6 months ago, and is 22megs for some reason, either way I don't see it being useful.

KSP doesn't need to crash to make a log, it makes an output_log.txt file in the KSPData folder every time the game is started, and when your copy of KSP freezes the log should show what KSP was doing just prior to the freeze.

Also your old log shows you were using FAR, crossfeed enabler, module manager, distant object enhancement, EVE, mechjeb, rasterprop monitor, KAS and many more addons, so if you're still using addons please try again with a new install and a new savegame and if it freezes please upload the latest log, thank you.

Hm? It was uploaded 6 months ago? I must already have an output_log.txt file on my DB.

I was using FAR on my old PC a while ago. I was using a lot of mods. But yeah, you see it says near the end of the last one of a scene change, for me the game had already froze. I could tell the game was functioning from sound, I just saw a still image.

Well, I can't see anything obvious but there's definitely an issue here though, I do see one thing that I have not seen before that might explain it.

In your first log there's this.

I've seen stuff like this cause trouble for KSP in the past, and I'd recommend any software designed to boost gaming is not used with KSP, so please try disabling it and let me know what happens.

Ah, that must be it! EVGA Precision X 16 is the overclocking utility for my graphics card, and you can get it on steam. It was running each time I ran KSP, just for monitoring. But this also explains why it only happened on this PC. Thanks for your help i'll test this tomorrow, when I can.
