Just a quick Hello to the forum.

Total newbie here. Just installed Ver 0.15 and getting to grips with the basics - and I mean the \'very basics\'.

I\'ve downloaded a few mods and got the JSGME mod manager installed (I\'ve used this on other games), but not actually activating any mods until I\'ve go the hang of most of the stock parts and how things work.

Picking up lots of good tips on the forum, but still got lots of reading to do and probably some total newbie questions to be asked!

Looking forward to seeing how KSP develops over the next few months.

Hi Grant, welcome to the community.

You have joined at a good time, as you have seen there are now aircraft parts and a second moon to visit, there is the cool new ability of the map screen to show you your orbits as they change, and things will only get better as time goes by.

If you have questions feel free to ask, or browse the forums, or you can try the search box but it can be a little unwieldy, everyone here started out just like you and will be willing to help in their own way.

I\'ve downloaded a couple of fairly small, stable craft to give me a good idea of how others are going about things and to get a look at craft that actually work . But also having fun experimenting with things that look a little odd or tend to go \'bang\' when stages separate ;D then working out how to tweak it to stop the bang.

After that I\'ll actually try getting into a stable orbit!
