Bravo Fifflethecat, that was really good, you have an eye for making good videos.

It\'s times like these when I wish I could save favourite threads so I can find them again later, the music you chose was very calming and fit the video perfectly.

Thanks for sharing this :)

Thanks for the kind words ;)

Mind sharing with us a brief summary of the values needed for geosynchronous orbit? (altitude, velocity, any special things that need to be done etc.).

Congrats on the video by the way, it\'s a lovely watch. :)

Nice video! Just this morning I got my first geosynchronous orbit in 0.15. Also, it was my first flight with the zeoxygene mod, and I lost one of my brave kerbonouts due to lack of ZO2. Apparently you shouldn\'t plan your transit burn to be mostly in the shadow of the planet...

But I have a nice looking ship parked neatly above the planet with two (mostly) healthy pilots ;)

Kerbosynchronous Orbit altitude: 2868.4 km;

Kerbostationary Orbit velocity: 1008.9 m/s

Extra challenge: Set the kerbostationary orbit sattelite to 'hover' right above KSC :P

Ahh excellent, thanks very much for the info and the speedy reply, I shall try this right away.

Edit: Got it done (using MechJeb for some of it :-[ ), it\'s quite the view. However, it\'s not strictly Kerbosynchronous, even though I\'m at ~2868.3 km there is still about 20 m/s of ground speed. It seems that around 2867.9 - 2868.1 km there is pretty much no ground speed.

I\'m not pedantic enough to try and perfect it, but the information is there for anyone who needs it/wants to correct it. :P
