I meant sound and bullet color is wrong.

So i had a look around and you replaced the RL sounds with, something, and felt you had to change projectile color as well? Why?

Okay we already have 4 submissions!

First two battles happen today in about 13 hours.

Keep submitting, the system is not limited to a fixed ammount of submissions amd can even accept late entries.

This is ongoing and will not simply end at a point.

Woops ... small error in the OP. The Browning M2 is a 12.7mm/.50 cal, not a 7mm.

The M1917 is at the wrong place let me fix that, thanks.

Yeah I don't know where I will be ...

Small suggestion for the future: the KAX engines have an impact rating (crashTolerance) of only 2.0 m/s. This means the engine usually is the first to go when being hit by rounds or shells. We could mod the engines so they have a higher rating and thus last longer. Usually radials could withstand more battle damage, where liquid cooled engines like the Daimler-Benz and Rolls-Royce could be taken out with one shot. For the sake of gameplay, we could consider the idea of armor plating around the engine, just by increasing it's impact rating to 10.

@Azimech: Yes I could make armor plated versions of some parts and add them to the pack on the future.

Or even have dedicated amor parts.

And oh, by the way, this weapons pack will become a full mod with custom models and everything!

There will be also bombs and maybe some turret or rocket pod, but for now at least the internal weapons are confirmed.

@TUKE: sorry for changing the colors I just made them look cool because they were too bright, etc.

Please pm me telling the tracer color of each weapon.

I may also remove/nerf the tracing of some weapons just because.

Here's the original color taken straight from the .cfg.

projectileColor = 255, 247, 0, 255

And as for the sound, if you don't still have my pack installed -->here's<--- the link again.

Also i would recommend setting the heating for the other weapons similar to mine. That way the AI can only use shorter bursts as opposed to just filling the sky with bullets.

And i would recommend replacing this section in the .cfg's

name = BahaTurret

weaponType = cannon

rotationSpeed = 10

With this

name = BahaTurret

As it will remove the animated explosions(The particle effect as it is too big (Maybe do this for all but the cannons, but i would recommend doing it to those as well)).

I am not going to change the weapons heating, it's a design and strategy choice, if you set your AI to always be far away you are going to waste all of your bullets, or the enemy bullets ;)

Yeah I did not bother with that yet as it had no gameplay impact, but I am going to remove explosions from some weapons and try to make others smaller, thanks for the tip.

But cannons stay explody, they have cannon parameters.

The next pack update will have fancier descriptions and color changes, maybe some texture changes, but nothing that affects how they work at all.

By the way, from which weapon is that?

The color values are ripped straight from my version of the Hispanio, and the first cannon related segment is from the Berezin UB, and the second from my Hispanio. And the reason i recommended removing the rendered explosion is for FPS and the fact that size of the rendered explosion is still from 105mm same as the muzzle flash, as i believe both are built into the model in unity (i haven't really gotten that far yet). And the quick overheating was just my idea to try and prevent the AI from shooting while still out of range of the weapon.

@TUKE: yep, the problem is that the AI refuses to use it, I have no idea why.

I simply took the PEC-3 and resized it, and it won't to work, the Weapons Manager won't even select it.

Will see what else I can do, but its not like jets need more than 2x M3s, haha.

The modpack will have rocket launchers on the future regardless.

We have a best-looking piston monoplane candidate right there :D

There are many submissions so far, can't wait to start.

I'm afraid version 5 has been swapped over to the twin sport setup to better take advantage of the low speed handling those wings were giving me. But I agree, it looked much better with the radial engine =)

Guys I don't think I will be able to start today, I have too little time.

I will try to get at least the first battle, as I need to setup the tournament battle tree.

Since there are many piston monoplane entries I will have to organize the battle table, but I have time for a biplane battle!
