Fuel Delivery TMOIF Challenge Tier Zero

This challenge is set in KSP 1.0.x stock.

Tier zero buildings. No upgrades to the facility .

Start default career with 1200 science points and unlimited funds.

Quickly deliver the most fuel to the launch pad via Runway and Crawlerway.

Payload starts at default launch location from the SPH or western extreme of the Runway.

Deliver fuel to entrance of Launch Pad.

Travel Route:

1. Entrance pavement to the KSC complex located on Runway near the SPH
   
2. Use pavement within KSC and go towards Crawlerway entrance in front of VAB
   
3. Crawl down the Crawlerway to the Launchpad
   

Imagine a fence around KSC and perimeter of the Crawlerway

The entrance to the complex starts at the pavement. About half the length of the runway. In front of the SPH as seen in picture.

Once the payload moves toward the Launch Pad the challenge timer starts.

Must stay within Crawlerway grounds otherwise disqualified.

Record start and finish time.

Performance:

This indicates the amount of fuel delivered per minute. Higher performance is ranked on the leaderboard.

Performance Calculation

kg mass of liquid fuel / minutes of time

Do it legit and Kerbal it. [see Wheaton's law or shenanigans]

Bonus and Penalty

Fuel Bonus:

Two minute bonus for thirty two tonne of liquid fuel.

Two minute bonus added for forty eight tonne and one minute for every additional sixteen tonne of liquid fuel.

2 minutes for fuel >32000 kg

2 minute added for 48000kg and 1 minute for every additional 16000 kg

Example of 54000 kg of liquid fuel equals 5 minutes bonus.

Funds Bonus:

Receive bonus coffee break of two minutes with freight charges less then forty two thousand funds (not including fuel and container)

2 minutes for freight cost < 42000 funds

Landscaping Rut Penalty:

If you need more challenge stay off the lawn!

Landscaping Duty: Incur penalty of two minutes and double the time spent on lawn.

2 minutes for initial incursion

2 x minutes spent making ruts in lawn

If hover technology is used instead of wheels then the exhaust will damage the landscaping within height of 10 metre.

171000/19 = 855 kg/minute

Bill dug up the landscaping around the Crawlerway entrance and took a three minute ride in between the rails for eight minutes time docked for rut management.

Even though mods were installed I never used them, but I will be doing this again so probably record to video.

I did this twice before with liquid fuel boosters and was way too overjoyed when it all started to join together. The two boosters were connected to a vessel on the launchpad and enjoyed hearing the sounds when using the mod Docking Sounds. Tried some IVA but quickly went off course but it felt like I was conducting a train.

Until Persistence Trails can display the vessel a video or many screenshots is needed for perfect runs. Unsure if PT is broken I was about to download it but its thread indicates vessel playback is the very feature that is broken.

Best tip is understand and use gizmos. Re-root part and offset are essential for alignment.

Also you will appreciate all the work going into the new wheels model, especially the steering.

Aim and fire? Does your plan have the fuel delivery travel the route outlined (Runway and then to the Crawlerway)?
