Lol I spoke Chinese all my life, also know a bit of Portuguese from international relations but I don't confuse the two. They are similar, but not identical enough to cause Freudian slips.

That's funny. The other student at my house is chinese.

It wasn't a Freudian slip. I was learning the words for food at the dinner table in Chinese, and suddenly the Brazilian started cracking up.
