Can you suggest some good visual mods

Im looking for some good mods to improve the textures and visual look of the KSP world

I dont want loads of mods maybe just a couple.

I definately want to improve the texture of kerbin, how do I do that? I think Im supposed to use texture replacer but where do I get the textures. Im assuming this must be a common addon but I dont see it in the usual addon sites like curse and kerbalstuff. Where should I be looking?

What do you mean EVE, I only see the astronimers pack, and some instructions to get it to work with 1.04.

If I look for a standard EVE I just get this page http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/55905 which looks like an old mod, and a link to the astronimers mod on the last page.

This is rediculously confusing, what am I supposed to Install?

Are they 2 seperate mods or one mod?

The 'Astronomer's Pack for EVE' will not work without EVE itself. You will need to install it to make any EVE expansion work. And yes, the link you provided is the correct one. The thread still says 0.24 but it does still works just fine in 1.0.4
