Rods from the Gods install

Hello

I have downloaded the Rods from the Gods mod: http://www.curse.com/ksp-mods/kerbal/226577-rods-from-the-gods

I have placed it in my game data folder like other mods but it doesn't seem to work.

Anyone else use this mod and know what I am doing wrong?

Well, if the picture is any indicator, it's badly out of date. Like, three or more versions. Make sure that the file structure is correct. If that's not the issue, it's the .cfg files involved. That's not my area of expertise, though...

Might want to hit up sal the mod, I believe this was his creation.

I can't run the Unity editor so it's going to stay un-updated, but it's literally just a rod and a winglet, not hard to make.

Also I never uploaded it anywhere but here...

If you got it from there can see why looks like the file is not setup right.

EDIT- Isn't there a newer mod out like this ? will look, I'm sure there is let me see now.

EDIT- This was the one, I was thinking of Kinetic Penetrator http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/128617

But if you do want that rod and fins in game it won't be hard to fix it.

It pre-dates the GameData folder, has the wrong format cfg files and it's DAE+png, I might be able to re-export it with Taniwa's blender plugin but it'll look pretty rough.

Now we have I-beams and basic winglets it's possible to make stock rods now too.

Fixed it so you can get it in game, I did rescale the winglets to 0.5 they was 0.1 added

PART {} , rescale = * , TechRequired = start , entryCost = * , changed the *.dae to *.MU and textures to dds

Thanks MeCripp, been playing around with Kinetic Predator but it's not really working for me in game.

Your licence is in the download and @gredawarha you can just unzip it in KSP/GameData but there isn't really anything to do with it that you would have to put what you want in the cfg.
