Trajectory surprises

I was launching a transfer tug with some comsats to build a network around Minmus, and I complete the transfer burn to find this waiting for me:

Unexpected Munar flyby... that will then sling me out-system. NOT part of the plan.

No worries, though. I'll just perform a maneuver at the Munar perapsis to correct my trajectory...

TWICE. I fly by the Mun TWICE. Without a single source of science aboard. :(

Anyways, anyone else ever had some oddball trajectories or encounters?

These kind of unexpected encounters are fairly common in the Jool system, where, basically, if you have an elliptical and equatorial orbit, you will visit one of its major moons (Tylo, Vall and Laythe) at least once per orbit, though that sometimes does not end up like you'd like...

But I haven't had any of this kind of encounters in the Kerbin system, well done :D

I don't have a screenshot with me but one time I was trying to go to Eeloo (I almost NEVER go to Eeloo) and the one time in a very long while I attempt it, Jool gets in the way and will not move unless I spend like 400 or so extra delta v. It was infuriating and amazing at the same time.

My biggest trajectory surprise was a botched gravity turn with circularization at 32km. Was a pain to correct.

Other than that, trying to get the class E asteroid into LKO and sending a mission to Duna resulted in me making this:

Mun sucks. It takes about 800 m/s to get there, and only about 1000 to leave Kerbin, so it's basically useless as a gravity slingshot. And yet, it just LOVES to mess up your transfer windows.

Go tell that to Ike...

It can be useful for assisting interplanetary ejections, can save you a couple hundred m/s if done well.
