How does KSP work on Mac with mods?

Does it crash a lot or not? I'm moving all my data tomorrow onto my mac book, I just want an input from mac users. Can you guys tell me, does it work on Mac with mods or not?

It doesn't crash too much, but I only have about 15 mods. So, it's about as smooth as the windows version until 1.1, where that extra ram will help against memory leaks. 2015 Retina Macbook Pro here.

It can sometimes crash, but that depends on either A. The amount of mods installed and B. the mods overall.

Mods like Dark Multiplayer sometimes crash me, everything else seems fine...

...although I'm not sure if its the same thing on a laptop...

I'll tell you, the game runs far better fps-wise on windows thanks to DirectX (though this might change with El Capitan and U5).
