Oh, and as we are talking about selecting parts - the same thing in the VAB/SPH for adding action groups, for the more complex crafts (especially landers and rovers that need to have their CoM low) it can become a pain to set up action groups after designing the craft.

Generally speaking - just make searching things easier.

You can use editor extensions in the VAB/SPH. There was a mod for editor part selection but I have forgotten. For target selection I think you might be looking for haystack
