More compact ISRU's?

Is there a way to get a more compact ISRU for space craft?

I know Karbonite has some smaller drills, you could easily adapt them for Ore use through a ModuleManager script.

I've personally used Tweakscale in a lot of situations to make the ISRU 1.25m. Sure, it'll run a bit slower (Tweakscale doesn't always get the exact right amount of input/output ratio after tweaking, but it's close enough for me) but it's a good, quick option IMO.

This battle truck, for example, has a very tweakscaled (down to 0.3m or so) ISRU, drill, and ore tank, allowing it to stop and refuel (very slowly). I even modded to cfg files so that it can make more ammo as well (guns are from BDArmory mod). Theoretically, it can keep going and shoot down enemies forever.
