Mech Jeb Pod V2 Not Generating Power

Hello, I am running MechJeb 2 and want to make a rocket. I used the mods pod and launched it, I later realised that it was out of power. I found this odd being it should have been generating power. I was wondering if I did something wrong or if I need to press something to get the pod to start generating power, thankyou

I think you misinterpret the values. The MJ case is consuming power and not generating it.
