ESC Button Bug Problem

KSP Version

Overview

So when you're flying a rocket or anything you use to be able to press the ESC button, and when doing this you could save the game, revert flight to launch or vehicle assembly.

Now for some reason I can't open up the menu now when pressing the ESC button, and instead it pauses the game. So now I can't save the game while in flight or revert the flight which then means I have to alt+F4 the game.

This has ruined my experience for the game and now it's basically unplayable to continue progress on a save because of this.

Please help me fix this problem, as I have looked in the control layout and even removed the ESC button from pausing the game but still doesn't fix the problem.

Okay. I see in your log file that you're using addons. Something is throwing an error (several errors actually) which starts with this one:

MissingMethodException: Method not found: 'ConfigNode.SetValue'.
at (wrapper delegate-invoke) Callback:invoke_void__this__ ()

at (wrapper delegate-invoke) Callback:invoke_void__this__ ()

at RenderingManager.OnGUI () [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0

Unfortunately, I don't know which one uses "RenderingManager." So my suggestion to you would be to make a copy of your KSP install and remove the add-ons from that copy. Run the copied game (with a fresh save) and see if it's working. If so, add the add-ons back into the Copied KSP one at a time until the error happens.

If you don't make a copy and decide to use the same install, use caution when removing add-ons. Loading up a save with add-ons that have been removed can cause it to delete portions of the save (or corrupt it completely).

Also, I'm going to move this over to the modded install support for now.

Cheers,

Okay I'm going to try that out in a minute.

EDIT :

I figured out that it was an addon called CactEye which is suppose to be like a telescope addon. (http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/88604-CactEye-Orbital-Telescope)

well its fixed now so thanks for helping me out.

One more favor, do you know any possible addons that could replace that one ?
