The problem here is that you're using a duplicate copy of some of my experiment definitions. KSP doesn't like it when you add multiple science experiments with the same id and it throws out the error:

[Exception]: ArgumentException: An element with the same key already exists in the dictionary.

System.Collections.Generic.Dictionary`2[system.String,ScienceExperiment].Add (System.String key, .ScienceExperiment value)

This seems to have the effect of breaking some experiments but not others. I think which experiments are affected has something to do with load order (anything loaded before the duplicate experiment is ok), but I'm not really sure.

In any event you need to change the experiment id value for the magScan, rpwsScan and scopeScan. Those are using my definitions and will break things when these two mods are installed together.

I just noticed this thread and the Curiosity Clone really dragged my intention, but unfortunately there is no download link.

Are they currently down because they are broken? And will you fix them? Or are they just temporarily down and back up in a few days?

There is a bug with the Landers and Probes Pack they take out the crew and eva reports.

I'm working on fixing this issue. I'll try to add Venera probe in the same release.

Could you check the Valkyrie again? It's pod spams the log with NullReferenceException and still exhibits animation lag (though not as dramatic as before). Also, it turned out the probe is much too small. It's mounting interface should fit a 2.5m decoupler, while it's halfway between 1.25 and 2.5m.

Overall, since you're generally relying on other peoples' LVs to lift you probes, it might be a good idea to find a "recommended LV" and scale the probe with it. Frizzank's Titan IIIE is the most obvious choice for Voyager and Viking, so they should be scaled to 2.5m. Venera, on the other hand, will fly on Proton, probably Denny's (with Block D from his N1).

As for Mars 2:

Now, the sphere you see is a heatshield housing the actual lander. The upper part jettisons (along with the parachute), what remains forms the base of the lander. The only thing I couldn't find so far was the location of retrorockets, which did the final phase of the landing.

I have another couple of bugs with the Ariane 5/ATV in the ESA 0.7 pack (sorry I didn't get around to writing it up last night).

The Ariane 5 SRBs don't show up right in the VAB and at launch. The icons are blank and sometimes disappear? They stage okay USUALLY (the error might just have been me) and seem to work okay in the Delta-V calcs in MechJeb. Mor ciritcally though when using multiple SRBs (I tried 2 or 4) one of them is invisible in the staging screen in the VAB.

The Decoupler used between ATV and the Ariane 5 EPS has trouble letting go, apparently. I am using KerbalJointReinforcement alongside 0.23.5 ARM which might be why. It kinda boings the EPS back and forth for a while below the service module and eventually falls off if you pitch or jaw the service module. I think it might be a combination of the ejection force not being quite enough and it clipping on the ATV engine nozzles or something.

Also, a request of sorts: Is it possible to separate the decoupler function and the engine firing functions on the SRB stages on Vega and Ariane 6? IF you don't it messes up the staged Delta-V calculations in MechJeb and possibly also KErbal Engineer because it can't detect the decouple. Only a minor thing, but it makes the rockets more usable.

The fairings for the circular fairing are a nice touch but there are occasions when I would like them not to be there. As an example if I want to attach them to a slanted surface but want them to deploy squarely I place a small box truss and angle it to 90 degree and then attach the unboxed CSA to that box truss.

Is it possible to make two versions of each - one with and one without the fairing/case?

Well, I don't know of which fairings you are talking about, but you can detach the fairings for the probes and landers in the VAB, if you look down at it. Then you should be able to detach it. (Atleast that worked for me)

I figured it out. The sircular soar arrays in version two were not contained in animated boxes. The boxes are nice but for some instances they are to bulky. So what I did was simply pull the parts from version two and added them to version three. I did not even have to change anything as they were already named uniquely. So now I have 6 circular arrays three in cases and three open kind of like the 1x6 and 2x3 stock arrays.

Let me know if you want me to post some images of my ships.

Curse update is under review for a few minutes/hours.

v0.7.2 hotfix:

- Fix Ariane 5 EAP (srb) icon not showing in the staging sequence.

- Fix ATV2 collider, now ATV decouples correctly.

For the separate decoupler, I'm not sure yet but it might be part of a future update including Delta-V equilibration.

Oh, and I suggest that you make Curiosity's arm and laser science experiment animations. Same deal with Spirit/Opportunity arm. HullcamVDS support would be nice, too, for cameras. I'm now playing Take On: Mars and I'd love to have a camera. :) I don't know if that's possible, but making the skycrane a custom KAS winch would really complete the mod.

EDIT: Nevermind, I noticed the mirror works. Looks like a whole lot of it is implemented, yay! :) The Pandora is lovely, though the wheels and the skycrane system could use some work (the latter should be KAS, the former should be stock system+IR for stowage and suspension).

1) I still have difficulties to make stock wheelmodule work, when I'll could I'll add folding wheels.

2) Yes, a cruise stage is planed for Prometheus.

3) arm and laser science experiment animations are added in this update.

4) NavCam works with HullCam plugin.

5) KAS plugin for the skycrane is planed but I need to learn more about it.

6) Main link is under Curse review for a few hours (very annoying this review but it's for your safety) but the mirror link (Mediafire) is always active immediately.

Good to hear, just noticed you did the experiments. Looking forward to the Prometheus and other updates. I haven't seen any KAS winch tutorials, but PMing the author may help. I hope you figure the wheels out.

I downloaded the updated dsl rover its missing a set of engines from the skycrane and I couldnt get crane to work what changes where made to it

What set of engines is missing? I merged skycrane descent engines with the skycrane so you only need to add boosters (srb) to the skycrane. Check the "stock" DSL Pandora.

About the winch, it uses Infernal Robotics plugin now. Did you download it? You need Hullcam VDS plugin too.

I'm sure you downloaded this mod from Mediafire and I forget to add a readme.txt file in the archive to explain the changes. Every changes are explained in Curse mod page but it remains inaccessible for hours during Curse review.

Here the changelog:

- Merge skycrane engines, skycrane ASAS and skycrane for lesser part count

- Hullcam VDS (for NavCam) and Infernal Robotics (winch) plugins are needed now

- Merge rover head, rover mast and rover pod for lesser part count

- Mast is now animated (no longer need to do it yourself), laser is now animated (no longer need laserbeam plugin)

- NavCam first personn view powered by Hlcam VDS plugin

- Robotic arm is now animated (no longer need to do it yourself) and has science

Must have been a bad download I have since downloaded the pack again from mediafire and everything is working sorry to cause issues is the camera image supposed to be very grainy

Yes I like it like that but it could be a little too grainy for first personn driving. Just tell me your feelings.

Well the cameras on the actual curiosity are excellent they provide extremely high quality images and video and feel that the excellent quality of your Rover is being let down by a grainy camera image. Your mods are always my favorites as they are very functional Hermes and Pandora are my two most used Lionhead products but i can probably edit the camera section to use the Kerbpro if you prefer the navcam. How are your twins healthy and happy I hope

@Yogui87 First TY and if you click the Big DOWNLOAD LH_LANDERPROBES_v.1.3 it's link to v1.2.2 so if people want v1.3 they have to click Mediafire LINK to get v1.3.

EDiT- and on Main page they need to click mirror link to get v1.3

EDIT- @ Dragon01 - I was just pointing out that his or her links need alittle fixing you click on DOWNLOAD LH_LandersProbes_v1.3 and see it links to v.1.2.2. and there both Mediafire downloads

That's because Curse takes time to approve the uploaded file and as such, can't be trusted for quick uploading. Mediafire is for that.
