Stock Fairing Textures?

I fancy myself a decent googler.... but I came up empty when searching there and this forum. Is there a mod that allows the changing of the stock fairings textures (and includes several options)? I also use the stock clamshell fairings mod, so it would need to work with that, though I don't see why it would be an issue either way.

There is a mod that lets you change the textures, however there are no textures made currently

Here's the fairing texture base that I used for VSR, All you need to do is change the color(s) of the base layer. I'd suggest scaling the new image to 1024x, but 512x works just as fine. Then convert the texture to DDS with DDS4KSP.

Oh and a bit of a warning: The stock fairings are locked to diffuse and unwrap unevenly near the edges of the fairing (it's noticeable if you try to give the fairing a consistent pattern).

I made a bright and dark texture for my [shameless plug mode] HD Proton-M [/shameless plug mode]. But as Ven said, the uv layout is a BIG bess and its extremely hard to not have texture gaps on higher viewing distances. Probably because the UV layout doesn't include any padding area (and is wrong and messy to begin with, too).

because of this, I ended up ignoring and overpaint the inner sides to avoid these ugly gaps.

Awesome! Thanks, you guys. Will give this a try later today. I mostly just want to change and/or get rid of the yellow stripe and have a couple solid color options so I'm not too worried about patterns getting messed up.
