Unigine don't appear to be targeting video games at all. That's not to say it couldn't work, but it's possibly lacking in game-useful features and big on working simulator features.

it seems to be 90% a visualization engine. Wouldn't work for a game requiring a lot of physics calculations, but could do stunning graphics if the physics are offloaded to something else (like Unity...).

Nice for demos, cut scenes, and games where there's no big calculations of things flying around (like your average MMO where the bullets or whatever just go in straight lines calculated on the server), but not for simulators like KSP.

Actually, your average MMO doesn't even have bullets flying around, because active hitdetection would be too demanding for the netcode (poor australians, etc). That's, for example, why ESO went from an actually interesting combat-system to just another boring lockon ability spam thingy.
